My observations about your observations are that marketers need to tap into these observations when considering how to segment and create campaigns for their products and services!

Leveraging technology is also a key strategic opportunity- perhaps the GPS enabled maps to find things at the park seems obvious to us..

Creating a new social movement could also be developed- eat healthy at the park and take away a new habit forming idealism for the masses in terms of weight management!

Creativity is the common denominator-the hybrid of SMM and creativity is limitless. 

(Yes we think of ROI in many forms to boot!)
